About the Coach

Coach

I’ve been racing competitively since I was four years old. It’s always been a part of who I am, and by the time I was 16, I was on the verge of earning my pro license. But just as I was about to take that next step, a serious injury changed everything, and I had to step away from racing. For years, I stayed away from the sport, but my passion for racing never went away. In February 2024, I made my return, not as a fresh-faced rookie but as a seasoned veteran with a whole new perspective. The time I spent away from racing allowed me to grow, learn, and truly appreciate the sport on a deeper level. Since returning, I've had the chance to compete again at a high level and reconnect with what I love about the sport, including a return to Loretta Lynn’s and podium finishes in various events. Now, I’m focused on sharing everything I’ve learned with others. As a coach, my goal is to help riders develop their race craft. I’ve been through the highs and lows of racing, and I know what it takes to succeed. When I’m not at the track, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, who keep me grounded and motivated. I believe in the balance of hard work and family, and I’m excited to help others find that same balance on their racing journeys.

More Information

What racing experience do you bring to your coaching?
During my amateur and professional career, I’ve raced against some of the fastest riders in the world—many of whom are now current or retired pros. Beyond motocross, I’ve gained valuable experience in desert and off-road racing, including Baja and endurance events. These diverse challenges taught me grit, discipline, and important life lessons that I now pass on to my son, the riders I coach, and others in the sport.
Why do you coach?
I coach to share my knowledge and help the next generation of riders and racers succeed.
What do you want riders to gain from your coaching?
I want riders to get 1% better every day, building steady progress toward their dreams.
